Sales Manager - Big Data Solutions Featured

Job Summary:

Solution sales & evangelism for Big Data solutions related to BI / Operational Analytics / Security

Responsibilities:

Sales Pipeline

  • Familiarise and stay up to date with product sales tools and playbooks 
  • Manage 1st line of Lead Generation & Qualification 
  • Respond to basic pre sales queries 
  • Provide Sales demos and engage the customers with solution & product knowledge specific to their requirement 
  • Communicate customer needs to Technical Pre-Sales as applicable, and work together opportunities 
  • Track and follow opportunities to closure and be accountable for pipeline and quote 
  • Sales Lead will also be expected to 
    • drive the team’s numbers and manage organisation topline 
    • allocate targets and responsibilities 
    • be accountable to management for overall team performance 
    • build and grow the sales team, and lead by example

Internal Engagement

  • Track, collate and report on opportunity status and pipeline across various channels 
  • Initiate order processing for won opportunities 
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Business teams to learn and grow with our organisation and its people

Product Knowledge

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of product offerings and how they are applied in the Enterprise IT use cases 
  • Stay current on industry trends within Big Data and positioning of Enterprise Big Data Analytics solutions within the market.
